Module 6D: Using Portable Technology in a Multisensory Room
iPads and tablets in sensory rooms or corners can be an exciting addition to the space. Tablets offer a host of apps which can be fantastic for sensory stimulation, sensory stories and more for a varied range of learners from sensory loss to autism. The best way to use a tablet for sensory work is to project the tablet onto a wall, white sheet even a white umbrella.
More information about technology can be found in 6B or Module 7. Also visit www.hirstwood.com for more information.
